In the first quarter of 2024, the US market witnessed significant activity within the Investing and Financial Management application category. Here's a look at how the top five applications fared on a unified platform, according to data provided by Sensor Tower.

Seeking Alpha: News & Analysis saw its revenue trending upwards, starting the quarter at approximately $134K and peaking mid-February at nearly $167K before settling around $135K in the last week of March. Downloads experienced a peak in late January with over 5K new users, but overall followed a downward trend, concluding the quarter with around 2K new downloads. Weekly active users fluctuated, with numbers initially rising to approximately 135K, dipping mid-quarter to around 119K, and ending the period with roughly 118K active users.

The Copilot: Track & Budget Money app's revenue displayed a notable peak in late January at over $210K, with a general upward trend throughout the quarter, ending at about $127K. Downloads saw a strong start with 23K in the first week of January but gradually decreased, with a slight uptick to 14K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, growing from 48K to over 50K by the quarter's close.
